7 more to go

Starting to get down to the end, I'm waiting for the big crash to hit. Hasn't been too bad so far. I've been a bit slower since my last post. We were already dealing with a dog with a sinus infection and now the other one has developed a squeaky belly and wants out every 10 minutes to eat grass. At least it gets me up and moving, but I hope they feel better soon. 44 pages since last post.

Post Supper Post

71 pages since my last post & some shrimp pesto pizza. The difficulty now seems to be finding a comfy place/position to read in. Been fight a stiff neck and shoulder most of the week and I can't seem to find a way to sit that doesn't make it worse. But at least I'm not crashing yet.

Mid Afternoon Munchies

So I've cracked open the skittles, gotten a chai latte to keep me going, but Lancelot is still 10 years old in this book. I like the detail in Whyte's books but sometimes they're a little slow. 63 more pages, but there's a heck of a lot more words per page in this book than there was in Sister Fidelma (that's more for me, when I count my pages I'm not feeling I'm getting too far, gotta remind myself it's like double my last book.)

6.5 and still alive

Another 56 pages down, though I might have to mix it up a bit. This book as very small print and it's beginning to give me a bit of eye strain. Almost time for some more food too.
81 pages and an egg mcmuffin run later I've finished my first book. Next up is Clothar the Frank by Jack Whyte

2 hours in

I guess this entry serves as my opening entry and my 2 hour entry. I'm 122 pages further (I had already started it) along in Peter Tremayne's The Dove of Death. I'm a big fan of the Sister Fidelma novels. I'm still going pretty strong, but then again this is like a regular work day for me, up at 5, take dogs out, feed them and me and instead of work I get to read. We'll see at noon and in the evening my usual lag times how I'm doing.
